Do’s & Dont’s
Follow these simple guidelines to get the most out of your Harrisburg Beer Week event:
- DO: Feature independent craft beer brands and brewers. We encourage you to focus on local and regional craft brewers when able.
- DO: Reach out to your local wholesale reps who can help you put together events showcasing choice craft brands, including select national craft breweries.
- DON’T: Plan events focusing solely on cider or mass-produced macro brands.
- DO: Be creative! Events should be unique, engaging and a break from the norm. SEE EVENT IDEAS
The exclusive beneficiary for Harrisburg Beer Week is Harrisburg River Rescue & Emergency Services. In its first three years, sponsors and participants helped raise more than $80K for HRRES to update their new home off of Paxton Street after their original location was destroyed by Tropical Storm Lee in 2011.
